Casa del Giramondo B&B Firenze

The B&B "Casa del Giramondo" offers two cozy double rooms: the Red Room and the Blue Room. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, heating, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, towels, soaps, hairdryer, and minibar. Breakfast is included in the price. The garden is available just in the morning, during breakfast (8, 30-10, 30) and in the evening if you book one of our home restaurant dinners (20-21, 30). Our establishment is located in the southwest part of Florence, along the Scandicci road, at the foot of the Marignolle hills. In just 13 minutes by tram, you can reach the historic center, while only a 10-minute walk away you will find the Nuovo Ospedale San Giovanni di Dio and the Don Gnocchi rehabilitation center. The Visarno Arena and the Cascine Park, where the famous "Firenze Rocks" Festival is held every summer, are just 2 km away. The area is well served by public transport, and you can easily reach us via the Arcipressi stop of the Tramvia or the Scandicci 3-4 stop of Bus 6. Furthermore, you will find a wide choice of restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity. We're sorry, but we cannot accommodate pets in our establishment. However, an old cat reigns supreme in our house and will be happy to keep you company during your stay!

Our breakfast

The breakfast included in the price is served from 8:30 to 10:30 in the kitchen or garden, and offers a variety of sweet and savory options, suitable for the tastes of our guests. You can enjoy handmade or homemade cakes, empty or filled croissants, toast with butter or rusks with jam or Nutella, biscuits, hard-boiled eggs, cold cuts, and cheese. As for beverages, we offer a selection of fruit juices, cappuccino, coffee, and tea. Upon request, we can also prepare special breakfasts for specific diets, such as lactose-free, vegan, or gluten-free. However, any request for specific brand products not included in the house's selection may incur additional costs. For those who leave early in the morning, before breakfast time, we guarantee a small breakfast in the room with packaged croissants or pastries, biscuits, cereal bars, tea, coffee capsules, milk, yogurt or fruit puree, and water.

Hello everyone! My name is Rossella, and for the past ten years, I've had the pleasure of managing the "Casa del Giramondo," my cozy B&B located in Florence. I embarked on this hospitality adventure with the aim of personal growth and the opportunity to meet people from all corners of the world, with their diverse cultures and traditions. Each time I welcome new guests, I love enriching myself with their presence. In my work, I always strive to give my best, providing a professional and friendly service. I try to share a bit of my Florentine spirit and my passion for art, nature, and the beauty that surrounds us. Among my passions, there is also pastry-making, which I find enjoyable and gladly offer during my guests' breakfasts. However, I would like to make an important note: I live with a sweet 17-year-old cat. Consequently, I'm sorry, but I cannot accommodate people who are allergic or have difficulties coexisting with cats. My goal is to make your stay in Florence unforgettable!
